Key Cost Drivers of Warehouse Racking Systems
1. Material Grade & Finish:
Most industrial racks are constructed from Q235 steel, with powder-coated or galvanized finishes. High-quality welding techniques and powder coating processes enhance rack quality and durability, which also increases manufacturing costs. While prices may rise slightly, the corrosion protection provided by coatings is crucial, particularly in humid or refrigerated environments.

2.Load Capacity per Layer:
- Light-duty (100–500 kg/layer)
- Medium-duty (500–1,000 kg/layer)
- Heavy-duty (1,000–4,000 kg/layer)
Depending on different load-bearing requirements, steel of varying specifications and thicknesses must be used, so prices will vary according to load-bearing grades.
3.Rack Size & Configuration:
Racks exceeding a certain height require reinforced uprights and safety anchoring devices. Light-duty and heavy-duty racks exceeding a certain width may require additional uprights or welded reinforcement ribs.

4.Customization:
Non-standard sizes or color schemes typically incur an additional charge, especially for orders under 50 sets. As the original manufacturer, we do not charge additional fees for custom rack designs. Even for sample orders, we only apply a small, reasonable surcharge, but this will be offset in subsequent orders.
5.Logistics:
Sea freight from Guangdong or Jiangsu (China) remains the most cost-effective for bulk orders.
