Pallet Storage Shelving

The Pallet Storage Shelving system is a steel heavy-duty shelving solution engineered for storing palletized loads. Designed for industrial warehouses, distribution centers, and factories, it delivers high capacity, direct pallet access, and excellent durability. Its design supports quick installation, flexible shelf spacing, and large load capabilities.

Structure of Shelves

1. The shelving system is mainly composed of upright frames (columns) and beam components.
2. The connection between uprights and beams adopts a detachable design, ensuring convenient assembly and disassembly.
3. Beam height adjustment: The vertical spacing between beams can be flexibly adjusted according to pallet load height, with adjustment increments typically in multiples of 75 mm.
4. When shelves are installed on uneven floors, base plates or gaskets should be used to ensure uniform stress distribution on each upright.
5. For double-row shelves, column spacers should be installed to connect adjacent uprights at positions that do not affect operations. For single-row shelves, wall ties may be used to fix uprights to the wall for additional stability.
6. To enhance overall structural stability, diagonal bracing can be installed at the rear or top of the shelving system, and row ties can be used to connect racks positioned on both sides of an aisle.
7. Shelves should be equipped with necessary safety devices, with their surface color designed in warning yellow for clear visibility and operational safety.

Shelf Size & Tolerance

• Row Spacing:

Minimum clearance between pallet and upright columns: ≥75 mm

Minimum clearance between two adjacent pallets: ≥100 mm

• Layer Spacing:

Clearance between palletized goods and the beam above: 75–150 mm (depending on beam height)

For safety, recommended spacing: ≥150 mm

• Shelf Depth:

Must allow safe operating distance between pallet ends and the beam when the pallet is correctly placed

Distance varies depending on shelf type and specification

• Top Layer Height:

The forklift's maximum lifting height should be at least 200 mm higher than the top layer height of the shelving system
